We have a HP Envy 6032 printer (pretty sure it's not the 6032e model). It only says HP Envy 6032 on the front.
On the support page (Software and Drivers) there is a firmware update listed:
How can I tell which firmware version we have please ?
(although I will not apply this update unless only strictly necessary. Don't want to risk messing it up).
Thanks.

Hi @Mrmatt1
You can find the Firmware version by printing a Information page report,
using the "i" icon button in your right panel on printer.
1. Turn ON your printer and press "i" Information button once.
2. Then a page will be printed with all the information of your printer.

Best regards,

Easiest way: print a Network Configuration Report from the printer (usually under Setup → Reports on the control panel, or via a button combo). It'll list the current firmware version.
Alternatively, if the printer has a display: Setup → Printer Reports/Preferences → About Printer.
You can also check via the Embedded Web Server — find the printer's IP (from that same network report), type it into a browser, and look under the Tools/Home tab for "Firmware Version."
Compare that to the version on the support page to see if you're already current.
