Hi. I got the HP Envy 6055 from a friend. I don't have any other accessories.  I purchased the original HP ink and set up the wifi connection. After I inserted the ink, the printer says I need to insert setup carriage. I don't the original setup carriage. Please help me to bypass the setup carriage. Thank you!

5230 5055 6055 7120 7520 Remove all paper from the printer


1. On the control panel, touch the Home and Back buttons in this sequence:

Home button once>>>>Back button twice>>>>>Home button once
1 Open the ink cartridge access door, and then close it. A Load Paper message displays on the control panel display, and the printer begins initializing.

2. If the initialization does not begin, repeat steps a and b until the initialization begins.

3. Follow the prompts on the control panel display to complete initialization

I can only see these buttons on the control panel. which button is Home? and which button is back. Thank you!

The 6055 has no control panel, my mistake.

We kindly request that you open the printer box and look carefully for the setup cartridges. If you don’t find any inside, you may use the regular ink cartridges instead to bypass the setup requirement. To help us guide you better, please share a clear image of the ink cartridges with us in a private message.
