Hi @Indycook,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with connectivity.
The HP Envy 6055e printer supports WPA2 AES-based CCMP encryption, which is the standard for most modern Wi-Fi networks, including mesh networks like eero. If you're having trouble connecting your printer to your eero mesh network, here are some steps you can try:
Restart Printer and Network Devices: Turn off your printer and all eero devices (gateway and beacons), wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn them back on.
Check Network Settings: Make sure your eero network is using WPA2 AES-based CCMP encryption. You can check this in the eero app or web interface under the network settings.
Forget and Reconnect: On the printer, forget the current Wi-Fi network connection and then try reconnecting to your eero network. You may need to enter the Wi-Fi password again.
Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for firmware updates in the printer's settings menu.
Move Closer to Router: Move the printer closer to the eero gateway or beacon during the setup process to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Reset Printer Network Settings: Reset the network settings on your printer and then try setting up the Wi-Fi connection again.
Check Firewall Settings: If your eero network has any firewall settings, ensure that they are not blocking the printer from connecting to the internet.
If you're still unable to connect your printer to your eero network, either its not compatible or I recommend you get remote assistance via HP phone.
