Hi @JimB111,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To resolve the issue of your HP Envy 6200 series printer showing as offline on a Windows 10 computer, follow these steps.

Check Printer and Network Connections

  1. Ensure the printer is turned on and has no error messages on its display panel.
  2. Check the printer’s connection:
    • For wired connections, ensure the USB or Ethernet cable is securely connected.
    • For wireless connections, ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

Restart Printer and Computer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Restart your computer.
  3. Plug in and turn on the printer after a few minutes.

Set Printer to Online

  1. Open Control Panel:
    • Press Win + R, type control, and press Enter.
  2. Go to Devices and Printers:
    • Click on “Devices and Printers” under “Hardware and Sound”.
  3. Find your HP Envy 6200 series printer:
    • Right-click on the printer icon and select “See what’s printing”.
  4. Set the printer online:
    • In the print queue window, click on the “Printer” menu at the top.
    • Uncheck the “Use Printer Offline” option. If it’s already unchecked, toggle it on and then off again.

Clear Print Queue

  1. Open the print queue window again as described above.
  2. Click on “Printer” and select “Cancel All Documents”.

  4. If the issue persists, uninstall the printer:
    • Right-click on the printer in Device Manager and select “Uninstall device”.
    • Go back to “Devices and Printers”, right-click the printer and remove it.
    • Restart your computer and reinstall the printer using the latest drivers from HP’s website.

Set as Default Printer

  1. Open “Devices and Printers” as described earlier.
  2. Right-click on your HP Envy 6200 series printer and select “Set as default printer”.

Check Printer Port Settings
