The printer has worked, generally, well for a few years now. Recently it failed stating the printer was in “Error mode” or “Error state”. I forget which.
My company’s IT team uninstalled the printer & tried to download the driver again. The problem now is that I can’t launch the printer & use it as it says something along the lines of drivers not downloaded.
Looking in Device Manager I found the following with the printer:
“The driver cannot be installed because it is either not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner. Contact your hardware vendor”
I’m fairly sure this started to happen after a Windows update was pushed through.
Any idea how to address this?

Hi 19JB72,
I'd be happy to assist you
Let's try and uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.
--->In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
--->Select your HP printer.
--->Select Uninstall.
--->In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
--->In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
--->Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
--->Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
--->Click on the Drivers tab.
--->Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
--->Select OK.
--->Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
--->Close Devices and Printers.
And then, install theHP Easy Start (under the Software and Utility tab )
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
