HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer

My printer is stuck on the load screen on one dot.  I followed the hard reset instructions to hold down the power button while plugging the printer back it, but nothing helps. No matter what I do, the printer keeps trying to load and won't reset.

Hi @HelpSteph1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

 Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer while the printer is still on.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  5. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
  6. Press the Power button to turn the printer on.

Check Power Source and Connections

  1. Make sure you are using the original power cord and adapter that came with the printer.
  2. Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the printer and the wall outlet.

Inspect the Printer for any Obstructions

  1. Open the printer and check for any paper jams, foreign objects, or obstructions inside.
  2. Remove any visible debris that might be causing the printer to malfunction.

Update Firmware (if accessible)

If the control panel becomes responsive at any point, perform a firmware update:

  1. Go to the HP Support Website - Software and Drivers.
  2. Enter your printer model (HP Envy 7155) and select the operating system.
  3. Download and install the latest firmware update.

Check Printer Connections

  1. Ensure all connections are secure, including USB and network cables.

I hope this helps.
