Envy 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently my Envy 7640 stopped scanning to email.  I have checked all of the articles on the forum and others.  Nothing has fixed the issue.  Not sure what has happened to stop this running.  Have tried all of the reset to factory, changed IP addresses, had the issue with DNS server issues etc - nothing has worked to regain connectivity so I am thinking it is a way to say that the printer needs replacing.  Seems like a planned obsolescence  as I can't see how this would change as my router/modem/PC hasn't changed.

I have tried and reset all factory settings, cleared all web services, gone in and changed IP address/DNS, restarted routers, changed to different router/Wifi.

Nothing has worked and still can't scan to email so looks like I am buying a new printer (not HP this time)

@RobEnvy7640

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

If you've not made any changes to the settings, it could be that the HP server is down (which happens often) wait for a couple of days and try again. You can also try the steps from the article - Cannot Connect to Web Services By the end of the article you will be able to isolate the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
