HP ENVY 7830 is blocked during initialization. after power failure. Before the printer was connected in WIFI mode to the livebox but the HP printer stays working in boot without any connection to me Wifi network. From the PC i got HP not connected.. I have started many times to unplug and reboot the HP printer and I got exactly the same problem HP printer is always blocked duting init. I dont know how to finish the HP boot or reset factory setings. The printer stays blocked on this screen and the tactile screen is unavailble to click.

Hi @chrisippy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP ENVY Photo 7830 All-In-One Printer is stuck during initialization after a power failure and is not responding to your attempts to reset it. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Power Cycle: Unplug the printer from the power source and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in. Sometimes a power cycle can resolve temporary issues.
- Hard Reset: If power cycling doesn't work, you can try performing a hard reset on the printer. To do this, locate the power button on the printer and press and hold it for about 10-15 seconds. This should force the printer to reset to its factory settings.
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure that there are no obstructions in the printer, such as paper jams or foreign objects, which could be causing it to get stuck during initialization.
- Update Firmware: If possible, check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP website. Updating the firmware might resolve any software-related issues causing the initialization problem.
- Connect via USB: If the printer is not responding to wireless connections, try connecting it to your computer via USB cable. This might allow you to access the printer settings and perform a factory reset if needed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi I have tried all but nothing is happening the printer still stays blocked on init. I have tried to put a USB cable but nothing change the printer is not finishing the boot and the PC doesn't see the printer. The ON/OFF button seems no working when i plug power the printer is up immediately and i have tried to keep my fingers on the button 15 s nothing happens the printer continue the init and stop waiting after one blue circle at left no more but the line blue under HP is finished.. I have tried many things from several days and I think i will buy a new one printer but i am not very happy about this problem and i am surprised on ths printer that nothing is planned to reset to factory settings. You said me to Keep my fingers 15s on the ON/OFF but this doesn't change anything on my configuration. It seems this button is disabled. if you have any new ideas let me know if not i will buy a new one. Thanks for your answer and your help.
