HP Envy6000 won't stop printing double-sided

Whenever I try to print a document single-sided in Word for Mac, I set the double-sided to Off, but it still prints double-sided, and resets the setting to On. I have even tried setting up a new preset with it Off,  but it still reverts to double-sided, 
I've read most the other posts on the subject but they haven't helped,. They're mostly about PCs or setting screens that don't exist for me. All I have is the Print Dialog box. 
This is mission critical for me. My work requires me to print single-sided documents. I don't want to have to keep printing them one page at a time. 

BTW I am on OS 14 - Sonoma ut the pull- down menu is out of date so I can't select that.

Any help to get this solved very much appreciated. I cannot go on like this.

i solved this by removing printer, then adding it again
