Pavillion
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep getting messages that the drivers for my h470 are "unavailable". What does that mean?

I have a new pavillion laptop, and cannot figure out how to install the drivers for my h470. Have downloaded numerous times the files from HP support for the 470. but keep getting the inavailable message.

I have unistalled and that does not seem to work either.

HELP PLEASE!!!

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that you are unable to install HP Officejet H470 Mobile Printer on windows 10 PC.

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

To reinstall, click here.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Still no good. The printer works fine on one of my laptops but my new one is just not doing it.

I will pay someone to remote assist the installation. And no not the geek squad, they said it was impossible.

Echo Lake how do I get an HP person who knows what HP software  to fix this software glitch? I will PAY an HP tech support to fix this.  I HAVE to have for work a mobile printer that will work. I am not a technical idiot  but I have tried everything I know to do. When I had  a problems year ago HP had an uninstall program that the new HP either does not have or is inaccessible.

WHAT DO I DO?

I have been a loyal HP customer, a number of just HP laptops and printers over the years. But your suggestions/steps did not get it done. PLEASE get me to a real solution!!! Otherwise I will have to go over to another manufacturer of a mobile printer.

Where do I go EXACTLY to get a tech on the phone and/or remote assist? This is ridiculous.
