HP Printer Assistant has a link Search Help and when I click on it I am told in HP Help Viewer that:
"Welcome to HP Help Viewer.
You must install the electronic Help to view Help content here"
For some weird reason Help content is not a SEPARATE INSTALLABLE FILE rather I am supposed to install either from the HP CD which HP was TOO CHEAP to include with the box that the HP Deskjet 3755 came in or from HP support website contained within a large file of software and drivers.
"You can install the electronic Help from the HP software CD or the support website:
- To install from the HP software CD, insert the CD, and then begin installing the software.
- To install from the support website, visit hp.com/support, and then download the “Full Feature Software and Drivers” software."
What is the point in ORDERING THE CD? Is the time it would take to get to me in Hawaii designed deliberately to try and exceed the time I have in which to return the printer if I can't get it working right? There is NO reason other than cheapness, or something else highly UNDESIRABLE, for HP to make it so difficult to install the Help file! As for installing from the support website, I have the "Full Feature Software and Drivers" but the electronic Help is not there as HP Help Viewer states it is supposed to be. If it is hidden and in this download then how do I find and install it?
HP should include the CD in ALL boxes of new HP printers or, in the very least, make the file EASILY downloadable from HP website not as part of a package of drivers, etc but a separate file. The Help file is the FIRST PIECE OF HP SOFTWARE NEEDED WHEN INSTALLING AN HP PRINTER.
So far, I like the printer but this website is awful and, for that reason alone, I seriously doubt that I will recommend any HP printer to those who ask my advice.
I am on Firefox 91.8 ESR and you keep saying, when I try to post this, to correct "highlighted errors". THERE ARE NO HIGHLIGHTED ERRORS. You need better software for this forum!

Welcome to the HP User Community.
In so much that I am aware - the following is true:
- Devices have not included hard copy manuals or CDs for a long time, I believe it was the mid-2000s. CDs are now considered an outdated medium - most devices no longer include a CD player. Paper: Too much trash, too many killed trees, to much weight, cost, moving and storage costs (paper takes a lot of room), too many resources (paper, ink, packaging). Yes, it was convenient.
- The software used at this Community does glitch, fail, stick, and bump on occasion. The editor appears to be a deflated (some options removed) version of the TinyMCE editor. The short answer is: We know the editor software is not perfect - it is what we have. For the "html" error you describe, simply wait a few seconds and click on Post again.

"Help Viewer"
I cannot duplicate the exact error. Using Windows 10 (latest), Firefox version 99.0.1
I do understand the desire to use the Firefox ESR version. That FF version may - or may not - include what you need for an uninterrupted session experience.
I do have at least one "page not found" error in my Printer Assistant "Help" section. ?
Caveat
I don't use the PA except for testing (and answering questions) - any errors might go unnoticed for a time.
If you are concerned about the PA feature(s), you could certainly try
- (Temporarily) Set a different browser as your Default
- Clear the cache / cookies on your browser
- Update your Firefox browser
- Run Windows Updates
- Uninstall printer software > Restart the computer > Install fresh copy of the printer software
The "Help" / setup in the Printer Assistant is a long way around to opening the device homepage in your browser.
Open your browser,
Open the printer home page:
HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer
From your printer's home page, open the various categories to find information.
For example, open Category Manuals to find the all-important User Guide
Visual Image Example - Printer Home Page
Next...
I cannot understand some of what you describe - forgive any errors.
I might be missing the point.
The Full Feature Software is installed else you would not have the Printer Assistant.
??
If you do want (or need) to (re)install the Full Feature Software, you can do so without the Printer Assistant Help link. In fact, you must do so because the existing printer software must be uninstalled from the computer before you can install a fresh copy of the printer software.
