HP Photosmart C5180
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

2 of the ink cartridges are out but i don't want to purchase new ones if it doesn't resolve the issue. Initially got error code 0xc18a0206, did the hard reset and now i'm getting error code 0xc18a0106.

I saw something about a faulty "chip"..is this possibly the issue? Where can i get the steps to check it/fix?

Thanks!

@S0-many_Qs, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.

Are you using HP ink cartridges?

Due to the age of the printer, support options are limited.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in these documents - Resolving 'Ink System Failure', 'System Supply Problem' Errors and '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
