Microsoft Windows 11

Initially bought a HP Ink Tank Wireless 410. Trouble from day one. Either it won't print, wireless doesn't work, HP software cannot recognise the printer or worst HP software will not load. Finally got rid of it.

Then as a fool again bought HP Smart Tank 750. Trouble from day one. Other uses cannot connect through wireless, every time have switch off and switch on the printer to work, reinstall software, software will not load. So many issues with HP printer products

On the other hand canon and brother work far beyond expectations

@Ashokan2812, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding persistent issues with both the HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 and HP Smart Tank 750
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Since you've faced persistent issues with both the HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 and HP Smart Tank 750, here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve wireless connectivity, software recognition, and printing issues:

1. Basic Checks

Restart Everything:

  • Power off the printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait for one minute and power them back on.
  • Try printing again.

Check Wireless Connection:

  • Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile.
  • If your router has dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & 5GHz), connect the printer to 2.4GHz, as HP printers often face issues with 5GHz.

Check Ink Levels & Paper Jam:

  • Open the HP Smart App and check the ink levels.
  • Ensure there’s no paper jam inside the printer.

2. Fix HP Software Not Detecting the Printer

🔹 Uninstall and Reinstall HP Software

  1. Press Windows + R → Type appwiz.cpl → Hit Enter.
  2. Locate HP Smart / HP Printer Software → Click Uninstall.
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Download & install the latest software from HP Support.
  5. Run the installation and reconnect your printer.

🔹 Check Windows Services

  1. Press Windows + R → Type services.msc → Hit Enter.
  2. Scroll down and locate HP Print Service and Print Spooler.
  3. Ensure they are Running and set to Automatic.
  4. Restart both services.
