What does the HP JetAdvantage Managment Connector application do? From what I can find, it seems to monitor the printers and if they need ink or have printing issues, the application can track it? Does printing work without this application being installed?

I'm contemplating uninstalling it, but I don't want to cause issues for printing.

HP Recommended

It is used for HP managed printers to communicate with HP cloud, it's needed.

It keeps reaching out to the internet to check Digicert for it's CRL (Certificate Revocation List). Anyway to disable that feature?
