HP PageWide MFP 377dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My laptop for work says the printer driver for the HP PageWide is unavailable. I have not changed anything on the printer or laptop associated to devices/printers. The printer uses wireless printing, but when I deleted the printer & installed it again, the message is the network is incorrect. It is not. The network is the same one my laptop & android are connected to. I deleted drivers & re-installed the driver during set-up. That did not work because the devices/printers message still says driver unavailable. I restarted the laptop as soon as I was finished with set up, but like I said, nothing has been solved. I can not reset the laptop as I have information for work that I have to have that would be lost. I need this fixed asap as it is my work laptop. Thanks!! 😃

Please talk with your IT Department at work. They may NOT allow you to install drivers yourself. I've got Local Admin privileges on my work notebook/laptop, I can install printer driver but it will be removed automatically at the next logon to my work networks.

We are only a small company & do not have an IT Dept. My boss expects me to either fix the problem or find someone who can. I have done what was recommended on a search by Cortana, but I did nothing more than what it said. However, the problem wasn't solved.

Sounds like the installation process did not work properly. Please download and run the following tool

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/topic/printscandoctor?jumpid=re_r11839_us/en/sitehometile/Printscandoct...

Hope it can fix the problem for you or tell you where to fix.

Regards.

My boss & I tried that, but what happens is, at the end of installing, after you click Finish, the laptop says 'DeviceSetup.exe' has stopped working & asks if I want to close. So it doesn't actually finish set up.
