macOS 12.0 Monterey

Hello,

I have been using this printer (HP Laser 107w) for a year on my Macbook Pro 2015 but I wanted to now use it on the iMac 2021 iOS Monterrey (12.6) instead. I got it to work for couple of pages but now it will just throw the following message:

URF ERROR - [URF] Decoding Fail

Position: 0x33a90 (211600)

System: emul/URF/URF

Line: 42

Version: V11.73_190212

Error code: 11-1113

I already tried deleting and reinstalling the printer info into the computer. Whats else can be done? Thank you for your help.

Hi @Maria1211

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

Try the following below and see how it goes.

Please make sure there is no USB cable connected to the back of the printer.

Press the Cancel button to wake up the printer and ensure it is ready, meaning the Power light solid lits.

Press and hold the Wireless Button for about 20 seconds, as soon as the Attention Light starts blinking together with the Power Light release the button and allow the printer to restart, which reset the printer to wireless setup mode.

now reinstall the HP Software on your computer or use HP Smart from your Mobile / Pc Device, ensure you are connected to your home network and that you see an HP-Setup SSID in the nearby wireless networks list.

From HP Smart click the plus sign and select your printer, if it is not listed click Add Printer or Setup and Add a New printer and follow the steps on the screen to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Update the firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello, thank you for your reply;

I tried using the HP SMART app, however, it indicates that this model of printer, the HP LASER 107W doesn't need a driver to connect with my iOS. I'm trying to connect it to an iMac 2021 iOS Monterey.

I can connect to the WiFi Direct network, however the printer's printing queue still says it's offline..

Any other comment will be appreciated.
