Hi @RaviRanjanKarn,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're having trouble installing the HP Laser 108a printer driver on your MacBook, there are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue. Please try the following.
- Check compatibility: Ensure that the printer driver you're trying to install is compatible with your macOS version. Visit the HP website and verify that the driver you're downloading supports your macOS version.
- Restart your Mac: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve installation issues. Restart your MacBook and try installing the printer driver again.
- Update macOS: Make sure your macOS is up to date. Go to the Apple menu, select "System Preferences," then click on "Software Update." If there are any updates available, install them and then try installing the printer driver again.
- Delete previous driver installations: If you have previously attempted to install the printer driver, there may be conflicting files causing the issue. Delete any previous driver installations by searching for "HP Laser 108a" in Finder and removing any related files or folders.
- Download the driver from the official HP website: Go to the HP Support website (https://support.hp.com) and search for the HP Laser 108a printer model. Locate the appropriate driver for your macOS version, download it, and run the installer package.
- Allow installation from unidentified developers: If you receive a warning message stating that the driver is from an unidentified developer, go to "System Preferences" on your Mac, select "Security & Privacy," and under the "General" tab, click the lock icon to make changes. Then, select the option to allow installation from "App Store and identified developers." Try installing the driver again.
- Connect the printer: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your MacBook via a USB cable. Make sure the printer is turned on and recognized by your Mac.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
