HP laserjet 1120 MFP does not work under mac pro monterey 12.4
Driver downloaded from HP site says it only works with os lower than 12. Printer is fine. No need to change to a new one. Thanks for any help.

If those drivers are not working, try these:
Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you very much for your help. The driver for the M1120 MPF does not exist on gutenprint. I tried a few others printer drivers which seemed "close to mine" although I know nothing about these. I did not work. However It is funny because everything seems ok including the system accepting and installing the new driver (s), recognizing the (usb) printer and the new driver and sending work to it which ends up as "finished". But nothing is actually printed. Respectfully.
