My laptop (Lenovo Legion Pro 5, Windows 11) can't see the HP LaserJet 1018 printer, while another laptop with Windows 11 prints fine. Lenovo Legion Pro 5 sees the printer, but does not recognize it as a printer. Tried a lot of things, including tips from this site.

Problem solved. I was able to install the driver from a flash drive, which I already had. I don't know why it didn't work before, maybe I did something else before installing the driver that I didn't do before.

Hi @Ilinoll

1.  First check the USB cable connection between Laserjet printer and computer.

2. Then please install the next driver for your printer:

On the 3rd step I get a message that 'The full software solution for your product is not installed on this computer' and a suggestion to download it from the site; eventually I get to this page https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-laserjet-1018-printer/model/1814093?sku=CB419A&serialnumber=... , where I have been many times before.
