HP LaserJet 1020 Plus Printer no drive available for macOS Catalina

Respected Sir/ma’am,
                                               There is no drive available for macOS Catalina for my printer HP leaser Jet 1020 Plus. Please provide us drive and better solution to fix it. My printer condition is very well and I don’t want to switch to another printer unless it is not in working condition. I hope you under the problem and let me know for better solution.

Generally, the printer is not compatible with Mac computers:

You may try below steps, it may work and may not, although not officially tested or expected to work:

1. Download and install below drives:
   https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US
2. Power on the printer and connect it to your Mac.
3. Click the Apple icon > System Preferences and select Printer & Scanners.
4. Click the plus sign and select the listed 1020 software.
5. Within the Use drop-down menu click on select software.
6. Search for 1022 and select the HP Laserjet 1022 printer.
7. Click Add and try printing using the newly added print queue.
