On HP LaserJet 111w:
I do NOT recommand buying this product, if you run Linux.
1. Hplip is outdated, needs an old version, crashes the system clock and hangs up during installation (I have Linux Mint xfce 21.3).
2. On Windows11, it works almost plug-and-play ... for the first time. Afterwards, nothing happens until you run "Problemsolving/trouble Shooting", which does not find any hint, BUT prints what is in the queue.
3. I formerly had various LaserJets e.g. 1160, excellent work, no problems with Linux. The111w does NOT live up to the former HP standards! And it does NOT feature an input tray, as advertised. Just a hole.

Instead of complaining about it why don't you report the problem to the group that supports it.
https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/about
Click on the left where you see "Report a Bug".
Unless the problem is addressed, noting will be done about it.
