Hello!! My issue is that no software can identify the scanner on my printer. The printer is obviously a bit outdated but i think its no reason for it to not get detected. Ive tried HP Easy Start, doesn't detect my printer, HP Smart same issue, the HP Support Assistant can't identify my printer, the doctor tool (i forgot the name) says that I didn't install the full software and wants to send me to a hp site that isnt available. Copying and printing works just fine. Ive been searching all day for a solution, so i really hope to get a solution here. Ive downloaded the drivers from the site, multiple times, removed the old ones, restarted my PC, unplugged the printer etc. it just wont budge.

Scanning on this device is not supported on Windows 10, at least by any HP drivers. Have you checked Windows Fax and Scan to see if the scanner is recognized there?
