Hi there, 

I have a HP LaserJet Enterprise 700 color MFP M775 series printer. 

I recently bought a surface pro 11 running on ARM. Where can I locate a compatible driver for installation.

Finding Compatible Driver for HP LaserJet Enterprise 700 Color MFP M775 on Surface Pro 11 (ARM)
1. No Direct ARM Driver Available

HP does not provide an ARM-compatible driver for the M775 series.
This is why traditional driver installation will not work on a Surface Pro 11.

2. What You Can Use Instead

A. Windows Update (Basic Driver)

Connect your Surface Pro 11 to the internet.

Add the printer via Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → Add a printer.

Windows Update may automatically install a basic class driver that allows simple printing.

B. HP Universal Print Driver (UPD) – Limited Use

HP UPD is designed mainly for x86 systems, but sometimes Windows ARM can use it in compatibility mode.

Features may be limited (basic print only).

Try adding the printer using HP UPD PCL6 if Windows allows it.

C. Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Accessible from any browser.

Allows:

Checking printer status

Scanning to email configuration

Network settings

Basic admin tasks

Enter the printer’s IP address in your browser to open EWS.

D. HP Smart App (Very Limited Support)

Download from Microsoft Store.

Older enterprise models like the M775 are not fully supported, but:

Sometimes basic print or scan functions work.

Good for checking connectivity.

3. Recommended Setup

If full driver support is important:

Use the printer via a Windows x64 PC or laptop.

Share the printer over the network to the Surface Pro 11 (ARM).

Surface can print using shared printer drivers from another PC.
