Recently, Apple notified me that HP extensions would not be compatible with future MacOs updates. I currently use Sequoia.

Does HP plan to update the drivers for its LaserJet M1212nf MFP printer to work with Sequoia MacOS?

Hi @Nan-Tse, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf Multifunction Printer supports up to macOS 12

You may try using the Apple Airprint - About AirPrint - Apple Support

You can try to Install a generic driver when adding the printer to the Mac print queue.

Make sure that the printer is connected to the Mac with a USB cable or to the same local network that the Mac is connected to.

1. Click the Spotlight icon to search for and open Printers & Scanners.

2. Click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax or click the Add button (+) to open the Add Printer window.

3. Select your printer from the Default tab, or enter the printer IP address on the IP tab.

4. From the Use dropdown menu, select Generic PostScript Printer or, if the postscript driver is not listed, select Generic PCL Printer.

5. Click Add to complete the setup.

Please refer to this document - HP Products - My operating system is not listed on HP Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
