Hello Forum,
I've installed the drivers for the HP LaserJet M1530 MFP Printer to scan and print. During this install the "HP LG M1530 scan" application was installed and a shortcut is now on our desktop. This printer can scan using the flatbed or the feeder tray.
We are experiencing issues when scanning using this application for our printer:
Example #1:
When using this application we want the option to either scan using the flatbed OR the feeder tray. But the scanner only scans in an item using the feeder and not the flatbed. Where can we set which to use when scanning.
Example #2:
This applicaiton does provide us the ability to scan in multiple pages into one PDF document. But it only will use the one method of scanning to add another page. In our use case we have a full page in the feeder which we'll scan into PDF page 1, but we have a small paper that can't go through the feeder and needs to be put into the flatbed for PDF page 2.
For both cases we would like to be able to choose the method of scanning before pressing the scan button. Where on this application can we choose the source for the scanned document?
Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide us.

@greavette, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
If you have the full-feature printer driver installed on the computer, you will have an option to choose the source as the document feeder or the glass before you click on scan.
Watch this video for a better understanding.
You cannot use 2 different media sizes to scan and save as PDF. You may scan multiple pages and save them as a PDF document.
Watch this video to know how.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
