Hey guys, i need your help. I entered a admin password for my printer but am not able to login with it after that. I wasnt asked for a username. so now i enter only my password. but even when triing with admin or Admin as user it doesnt work. 

 

I also tried this resetting solution, but it wont work.

so may be one of the support guys could also help me with the solution that finaly worked for george and was sent to him as pm?

You will need to follow the instructions below to solve this issue:

  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Press and hold down the Resume/Cancel (Tim_5455445_0-1642099309598.gif

     

    ) button.
  3. Hold the buttons when you turn on the printer.
    NOTE: It takes about 60 seconds before the initialization process begins.

the problem seems, that hp does have a problem with long passwords. now i choose a shorter one and i am able to login with the new pwd and no user.
