Hello,

 

My printer and laptop are connected to the same wifi but it will not let me finish setup. Tells me I need to finish setup in order to print. It will not let me finish setup and tells me to contact support. Also how come even though I have a usb connected to the printer it will not let me print over USB. This is very frustrating as I have had so many issues with HP printers.

You need to connect the printer to the wi-fi that has an internet connection, run HP smart app on your computer and follow the instructions. Without an internet connection and without registration the printer will not print. You have a printer that requires those steps.
