Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HELP!  I've bought a new laptop with Windows 11.  Setup was flawless until HP Printer.  I cannot get it to even look for updated driver.  Just keeps giving me a message that it needs a driver.  Using the HP Smart app is comical.  doesn't work either

I understand you are looking to download drivers for your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

Please go ahead and click on this Link to download the drivers to use on your Windows 11 operating system. 

 

If the issue persists then try to update the Printer firmware and Windows Update

 

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
  • Select Start > Settings > Windows Update , then select Check for updates. If updates are available, you can choose to install them
