LaserJet P1102 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I Have a printer HP LaserJet P1102 is failing to be detected by any of the 3 laptops I'm using.  Apparently, the laptops all used to connect successfully to 4 other different printers.  The USB printer cables I'm using are exactly the same ones I used back then and they worked well with the other printers.  Now suddenly with this new printer, it doesn't even get detected.  The drivers have actually been installed and set up successfully.  So how do I go about this problem?

@Tinetariro, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the printer is not recognized by the computers.

Try connecting the USB cable to different USB ports on the computer.

If you have an anti-virus/firewall installed, disable the same for the time being and check if that helps.

Once you connect the USB cable, go to Device Manager and check if the printer is detected.

For more info, refer to - HP printer setup (USB cable)

If the issue persists, the USB port on the printer may have failed. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
