HP LaserJet P1102w printer 26.2 not working 2026

I purchased an HP LaserJet P1102w printer, but it doesn't work with OSX Tahoe 26.2. Please help and provide a link to the drivers. There are no drivers on the official HP website.

HP’s official drivers do exist but may not install on recent macOS versions
The official HP LaserJet Pro P1102w driver can be downloaded from HP’s driver page here:

However, these drivers were released for older macOS versions and often won’t install on macOS 26.x because Apple changed how drivers work.

Use AirPrint instead of HP drivers
Newer versions of macOS (including Tahoe) rely on AirPrint, Apple’s built-in driver system that doesn’t require HP printer drivers. 
• Connect your printer to the same network as your Mac (via Wi-Fi).
• Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
• Click the + button, select your HP P1102w from the list, and choose AirPrint as the driver.
This works without needing any driver download.

AirPrint often works even without specific HP support
Many HP legacy models that no longer have updated drivers still support AirPrint. That means macOS can print using standard protocols even if HP hasn’t released a Tahoe-specific driver.

USB connection fallback with AirPrint
If Wi-Fi printing isn’t practical, connect the printer to your Mac using a USB cable, then add it via Printers & Scanners and choose AirPrint rather than HP drivers.

Driver alternatives or community workarounds

Thank you for the information, but this isn't helpful. To connect the printer to Wi-Fi, you need access to the printer's Wi-Fi settings. And to access them, you need the appropriate drivers.
