HP LaserJet Pro M118dw

Hello,

after I configured a more secure Administrator password in the web interface of the printer, I can no longer log in to the printer with this new password.

I used a long and complex password with special character, which was accepted without errors when setting it, but it's not accepted anymore when trying to log in with it.

What's the suggested method to reset this password?

Thanks.

I figured out how to deal with this problem without resetting anything.

The maximum length of the password is 16 characters, but mine had 24 characters. I remembered having the same type of problem in the past with a device and just cut off the last 8 characters and I am back in.

Problem solved.
