Product: MacBook Pro 2018
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hi guys! I'm a Mac user and recently updated to Catalina macOS on the MacBook Pro 2018 and the HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer stopped working. I get the following error:

 

"HPDM.framework" will damage your computer. This file was downloaded on an unknown date. Report malware to Apple to protect other users. 

 

I spoke to Apple support and they've said they know about the error and it's a HP issue.  I deleted the software on the Mac and did a fresh reinstall using the drivers on the HP site.  I still get the above error! Please help as I'm a teacher and desperately need the printer.  Thank you in advance!

The solution is to download (and install) this package which will update drivers AND THE CERTIFICATE:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...

If the link comes up blank, try right clicking and saving it.

Easy Admin did nothing. Easy Startup did nothing. 5.1 drivers did nothing. This worked for me!
