Hi, I have the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fw which was working fine until yesterday when the touchscreen went black and is now seemingly dead.
- I have removed the power cable, left it unplugged for 2 minutes, plugged it back in directly to an outlet (no power strip) and the issue remains.
- I've uninstalled the printer and re-added it
- I've uninstalled the HP Smart app on my mac and reinstalled it
The printer now seems to randomly go offline, and also I can no longer scan using the HP Smart. Of course it's out of warranty.

I'd like to help!
I understand the printer display is blank and you are unable to print from the mac.
Try the below suggestions for the blank screen on the printer
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
