Hello,
I have lost the custom password for the EWS in my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28w. Is there any way to reset it to default?
I'm unable to change any settings without the password.
Regards,
Artur

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
Please do check your inbox on the communities page for the private message.
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!

Hi ,
Thank you, the instructions that you have sent me allowed me to reset the device and get into the settings. NVRAM init has done the trick. Too bad those instructions cannot be publicly available, it would save your and mine time :(. Nevertheless, thank you!
