Laserjet 3390
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Windows 10 doesn't recognize our Laserjet 3390 as a printer. When we plug the USB in, it puts it down in device manager as a "USB Contoller" device, not as a printer. I can't get Windows to change that.

Maybe you need to install some drivers of your Laserjet 3390. Make sure wether it needs driver to be recognized in its official webpage.

Or, it may due to your USB port is damaged or Device Manager problem. You can try the following solutions:

1. Reconnect Laserjet 3390  or connect it to another USB port.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Click "Action - Scan for hardware changes" in Device Manager to rescan.

4. Disconnect other unnecessary USB devices.

5. Update Windows 10 to very latest version. (not recommended for there are many users complain about problems existed after system update)

HP Laserjet 3390 won't print documents after installation of Windows 10. Documents that are sent to print remain in the queue. We have looked in device manager and it appears that the printer is installed. Any help greatly appreciated.
