When using the EWS to access the Printer with a FQDN the Admin Password will not work, but it will work if i use the IP address. we have hundreds of HP printers and this is only happening on new 4001dn printers

Is this the default password or are you setting a password? I will admit that with all the devices I have accessed over the years I do not think I have ever used the network name nor have I had a client state this. Is the firmware up to date on the device?
