Product: M527dn

I just purchased a used M527dn printer with Firmware Bundle Version 3.8.0.2 Revision 2308214_000905, Datecode 20170602. I've been trying to upgrade to the latest version, and it sits at upgrading for a while and then just goes back to the menu?! I've tried all three versions that are available on the download page with the same results. Is there any way to get this printer upgraded to the latest firmware version? Thanks, Richard.

You used a USB with firmware and a preboot menu?

I had the firmware on the USB and went into Device Maintenace and selected the firmware upgrade and selected the firmware on the usb. I'm not sure what you mean about the preboot menu? Thanks! Richard

Open the firmware readme file and try to upgrade the firmware from the preboot menu. Steps are in the readme file.
