HP Laserjet MFP M28W asking custom password

Greetings,

During setup in HP Smart our printer is asking a personalized password. We did not set any password and we already tried to use the wi-fi password/Hp password (12345678) and standard passwords such as "admin" and "administrator", but it is not working.

They reset to factory settings, but it did not help. On the label, where the printer model and all the information is indicated, the password is not indicated.

Please tell me what can be done in this case.

If you are looking for a wi-fi direct password id on the printer's configuration page. Press and hold the Resume button on the printer for a few seconds and the printer will print a configuration page.

I am looking for the administrator password, since the Wi-Fi password is known (12345678), but when wifi-direct is enabled, the printer prints that it is not enabled.

Maybe I did not correctly reset to factory settings, but the static IP was also reset.

Where do I find the Wi-Fi Direct password for my HP printer?

Printers with a control panel menu: Touch the Wi-Fi Direct icon or button to view the Wi-Fi Direct name and password. Or from the Reports menu, print a Network Summary or Network Config page that lists the details.

The connection password is provided by your internet service provider (ISP). if you don't remember, call your ISP on the phone.
