I have a HP Laserjet MFP M477fdw with firmware 20180201 (connected via network cable (IPV4 only) (using with Windows 10). How can I disable "Shut Down After Inactivity" ?

in Engery Settings, I changed "Shut Down After Inactivity" from 2 hours to 8 hours. This seems to prevent my printer from shutting off. I dont know if the printer runs some sort of self check, or my router does something to the port, but this issue is resolved and no further action on behalf of HP is needed.

is this the correct place to provide customer feedback \ requests ? if not, please tell me how to do so.
Since I can't disable "shut down after inactivity" or set it to zero, I must walk upstairs and physically turn the printer off then back on when it has shut down. I think this is extremely inconvient. Some people may like this; I (and others from my google searches) do not. Please give the option.
Other than that, thanks for a great product.

thanks for the reply but 1) it doesn't answer my question or specifically address the issue and 2) i had already seen the "Port Delay Shut Down" option.
what exactly causes a port to be inactive ? Not printing, scanning, faxing, connecting to the embedded web server, pinging, etc ?
my pc (a msft surface I use downstairs) is not turned on unless I use it. So to me, unless I am doing something to the printer (printing, scanning, faxing, connecting to the embedded web server, pinging) the port will be inactive after the specified time and the printer will shutdown.
