Hello,
I have owned the HP Laserjet Pro CM1415fnw multifunction printer for a very long time.
It works perfectly and has only printed a few pages (2,500 pages).

What bothers me is the fact that I always have to turn on the PC to scan.

Unfortunately, the integrated web server does not yet support scanning to the network, as I am aware.

After a long search, however, I discovered that it should be possible via a workaround.
To do this, I need the old software HPScanToPCActivationApp.exe.
This was apparently included in the software pack: HP_LJCM1415_MFP_Full_Solution-v15.0.exe.

Unfortunately, I can no longer find this software pack anywhere.
The current versions of the full package driver pack on the HP website no longer offer this function.

My question is, do you have any ideas or tips for me—or does anyone still have this old software pack lying around, or how can I get hold of it?

I have several virtual servers running 24/7 on a large HP Proliant and could run the software there permanently so that scanning from the MFP to the network would be possible.

I know it's a “luxury” problem I have here, but I would like to find a way to solve it.

What's more, I have added several HP devices (PCs, laptops) to the Support Assistant, but I can't add the printer because the HP serial number is not recognized.
What could be the reason for this?

The serial number is: Edited

Best regards,
Marcus

Full solution install here for Windows 10 https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL34595/kj-85658-8/LJProCM1415_full_solution_22049.exe

This is the Windows XP install which states it is the same image as shipped with printer, but I have my doubts.

Hello,
Thank you for the download links.
I already found these; they are the packages currently available for download on the HP website.
These packages no longer include the HP ScanToPCActivationApp.
That is exactly the problem I am having. I need an older version that still includes the program.

Best regards,
Marcus
