HP M406
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have replaced the formatter board & eMMC board on a HP M406,  when the printer boots up I get a 99.39.67 error, press OK, the printer goes into the pre boot menu.

I have tried using a USB thumbdrive to load the firmware, however every time I try this I get a a message 'No USB Thumbdrive or files found'

Am I missing something or is there another way to get the firmware onto the printer through the preboot menu

In the preboot menu you will need to go to administrator menu and find the disk utilities and run the erase/unlock utility first to bond the drive to the printer.
