I downloaded the latest driver for server 2016 for HP Neverstop Laser 1001nw on a Windows server 2016. After the start of the installation-EXE it states: "This driver does not fit the current operation system".
What is wrong? Is there a drive-by-solution?
Many thanks - Michael

Hi,
You may install the printer software on a server using an MSIEXEC command, not by following the standard graphical installation wizard.
Please follow below support document, see the 'Customize the installation' section of the document with detailed information, although it is intended for other printer models it applicable for your HP printer too:
https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c03351547
for a successful installation, be sure to add an ENTERPRISE=YES atribute to the command.
