HP OFFICEJET 6950 PRINTER WITH USB CABLE
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

AT MY WITS END AND LOSING THE WILL TO LIVE . . .

Hi, can anyone help please?

I have a brand new computer with WINDOWS 10 HOME 64 BIT installed.

I have an HP OFFICEJET 6950 (with USB connection cable) which is 18 months old.

I cannot install this printer no matter what I try to do.  I have been onto HP support and downloaded all sorts of HELP software but still the problem exists.  I have downloaded drivers etc etc and still no luck.

I cannot understand what the problem is - I have been working on computers since 1980 and I have never struck such a difficult situation as this.

All help would be TRULY, MADLY AND DEEPLY appreciated!!!

Wibley.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do you get any error message?

Let's try using the HP Smart App: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04675142

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!
