I've recently upgraded my office Wi-Fi router, but when I tried to reconnect my HP 9130B printer to the new router the printer keeps prompting me for an administration password before I can input the new network information. Unfortunately, I do not have the password and need to be able to restore the printer to the factory default settings or find another way to reset the password.
Does anyone have any insight as to how to reset the password or restore the printer to factory default?
Thanks

Hi DN1LN1
To reset your HP OfficeJet Pro 9130b printer back to the factory default settings, follow these steps:
Using the Printer Control Panel:
- Open the Settings Menu:
- From the Home screen on the printer control panel, navigate to the Settings menu.
- Access General Settings:
- Touch the General menu.
- Reset Factory Settings:
- Select Reset Factory Settings.
- Confirm Reset:
- Select Reset. A verification message will appear, warning that completing the reset might result in loss of data.
- Select Reset again to confirm.
- Restart the Printer:
- The printer will restart automatically after the reset operation completes.
Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Find Printer’s IP Address:
- On the home screen of the printer control panel, touch the Information icon.
- Touch Ethernet to display the printer’s IP address or host name. Write down the IP address, or touch the Print icon to print the network information.
- Access EWS:
- From a computer or device connected to the same network, open a web browser.
- Enter the printer’s IP address or host name into the browser’s address bar (if entering the host name, ensure HTTP:// is prefixed).
- If prompted, proceed to access the website despite security warnings.
- Sign-In:
- In the EWS, select Sign In and enter the Administrator credentials to log in.
- General Settings:
- Select the General tab.
- In the left navigation pane, click Reset Factory Settings.
- Confirm Reset:
- Click the Reset button. The printer will restart automatically after the reset operation completes.
I hope the above is helpful
