HP OfficeJet 250 Print Queue on other computer

I have installed the OfficeJet 250 printer on my laptop on 24 Dec 2019. I noted that my other computer on the same network also have this printer under the Devices and Printers panel. I have no idea why it is there (as shown below) since I never installed it on this computer.

If you have Network discovery switched on, the device was perhaps "discovered" and added.

Try / Consider

If you don't want the entry, remove it.

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers

Right-Click on the unwanted device and select to Remove

Next

Switch OFF the relevant setting in Network Discovery

Verify / Switch-on / off Network discovery and File and Printer sharing:

Control Panel > icon view > Network and Sharing Center

Change  advanced sharing settings

Beneath Private (current profile)

Network Discovery

Select / UNCheck Turn on network discovery

Check / UNCheck Turn on automatic setup of network connected devices

File and printer sharing

Select / De-Select Turn on file and printer sharing

HomeGroup Connections

Select / De-Select Allow windows to manage homegroup connections (recommended)

Save Changes
