HP OfficeJet 5255 setup cartridges

I've purchased a factory refurbished HP OfficeJet 5255, which did not come with ink cartridges. I've purchased #63 color and black cartridges, which do not work. The printer keeps asking for setup cartridges which I do not have. How can I fix this situation?

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a "use setup cartridges" error.

We would have to perform an OOBE reset on the printer to bypass the error

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
