Hello,
The problem is the HP OfficeJet 5258 that I own, only prints the first page correctly and then the second page when you flip it, the text is upside down. Anyone know how to fix it on a mac?
Thank you in advance,
Hellosc

Hi! @hellosc, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you have issues printing two-sided from your printer.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Have you tried checking with a different brand paper?
Does the issue persist when you make a copy from your printer?
Have you tried printing using a different application?
As you mentioned when you print two-sided from your printer the second's side prints text upside down.
What is happening is there is a two-sided option that allows you to switch between having to flip the page along the long edge or the short edge. If you go to where you selected your two-sided printing and change the printing to the other option, the second page will print with the correct orientation.
Make sure that after Two-sided is checked that the Output Settings pull-down menu below says Short-Edge binding and NOT Long-Edge binding."
Try the steps recommended below to print double sided with your printer.
Set up the duplex print job in the document print settings.
To avoid page ordering issues, load enough blank paper into the input tray to fully complete your print job.
Open the document you want to print, click File, click Print, and then click Show Details if necessary.
Look for a Two-Sided selection box.
Figure : Two-Sided option in the print settings
If the Two-Sided option is available, your printer supports automatic duplexing. Select the checkbox next to Two-Sided, select Layoutfrom the unnamed menu at the center of the window, select long or short-edge binding from the Two-sided pop-up menu, and then click Print. You do not need to complete the rest of these steps.
If the Two-Sided option is not available, either your printer does not support automatic duplexing or additional setup is required for your automatic two-sided duplexing accessory. If you know your printer has the accessory, go to the Frequently asked questions to enable it. Otherwise, continue with these steps to manually print on both sides of the page.
Before continuing, you need to know your printer type: rear loading or front loading. The page settings you will select depend on what kind of paper tray your printer has.
Rear loading paper input tray
Front loading paper input tray
Select Paper Handling from the unnamed menu at the center of the window, and then select Odd Only from the Pages to Print menu.
Figure : Select Odd Only pages to print
Depending on your printer type, select one of the following settings from the Page Order menu:
Rear loading paper tray: Select Automatic
Front loading paper tray: Select Reverse
Click Print.
When all the pages are printed, remove any remaining unprinted paper from the input tray, and then continue to the next step.

I had the exact same issue, and none of the forums, comments, or videos helped anywhere when it was a simple fix.
SOLUTION: (Windows) Change Page Order from Front to Back
-Open Settings on Windows
-Click on Devices
-Click on the Printer & Scanners tab
-Find your printer (HP OfficeJet 5200 series) and click on it
-select Manage
-click on Printing Preferences
-make sure "Flip on Long Edge" is selected under Print on Both Sides
-change page order to Front to Back
-Press Apply

I have the OJ 5258 with the same issue. I just spent over an hour with HP Support and they could not resolve the issue. I just followed your instructions Perduettrouve and the problem is resolved. Thank you very much!!!!

I had the same exact problem with the same printer and was on the verge of just returning the **bleep** thing because it would not print correctly, no matter how many different options I changed.
THANK YOU for your post!!!
