Hello,
I suddenly received an issue with my printer (HP OfficeJet 8010 series ) and it is unable to connect to the HP Smart App. The application states the printer status is unknown. Trying to scan, the app says "Scanning is currently unavailable. Please select Home to check that your printer is connected and active. Once connected, return here to scan.".
Printing and Scanning still work, but not through the app. If I print/scan through Mac's printer and scanners application, the scanner strangely still works normally. However it does not work on the HP APP.
- I have tried wired and wireless connection.
- I have tried factory reset of printer
- I have tried deleting and reinstalling HP Smart App
- I have tried using multiple computers
