Hello.

Is that right?:

Borderless printing          Yes (up to 216 x 279 mm)

https://support.hp.com/ro-en/document/c06402636

Possibly a typing error?

"27.9cm" is shorter than "29.7cm". (DIN-A4).
That would not be "borderless".
Yes, "US Letter" is 27.94mm, but the device was also advertised as "borderless" in Germany and other countries with DIN-A formats.

Is it possible to print borderless on DIN-A4?
DIN-A4 = 21cm x 29.7mm (8.27" x 11.69")

"Maximum print area: 210 x 297 mm"

Really?

Because then US Letter doesn't fit.
That has "21.59mm", so at least the "21.6mm" of the faulty page is probably correct.

Not that a mistake will now be built in again.
This time against US letter.

The same error was also in the German description.
That's when I came across it.
Possibly also in other language versions.

What happens if I print borderless on copy paper?

Update / Edit

Borderless on Copy paper?

What works depends on the printer model --

It it true that some printers only support certain paper sizes and certain paper types for Borderless.

One way to check -- Relevant to Windows

If the Full Feature Software is installed and / or if HP Smart is installed

AND

the HP Smart Printing queue has been installed as part of HP Smart,

then

HP Smart Printing can be used to configure a job without conflict errors.

General Example - Windows - HP Smart app - HP Smart Printing - Simple Photo Print

Original Content

All the information has been sent along for evaluation and correction.

For the moment, know that both Letter and A4 are supported by the software.

True - it might take a while for the documentation to reflect changes.

Thanks for the catch.
