OfficeJet 8012e

Dear All!

I've a HP OfficeJet 8012e printer which got into a firmware update loop.

The printer keeps checking for updates, downloads and install continuously. Printer does not load. I can't navigate in the menu.

I've tried to update the firmware with Firmware Update application but it does not detect the printer via USB.

Windows recognize the printer and in device manager i see two "Firmware Update Device" device.

I've tried it with Printer Doctor, which finds the printer in the first page but after i press the continue button it shows that the printer is disconnected.

I've tried to log in the web interface, but it only shows a "Welcome to nginx!" page.

Is there a way to reset/restore the printer somehow and bring it back to life?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Atter
